LINE a Rainbow

Looking to add pep to your peepers? Try blue eyeliner. This bold yet (totally!) wearable trend makes the whites of your eyes appear whiter. The result? So fresh and fabulous, you may not even need that morning latté.

And why stop at blue? Follow the steps below with any eyeshadow for a customized eyeliner hue that suits your mood!

What You’ll Need:

Blog BlueLiner Spring MarMay14InSKIN 20140508

  • Skintangible “BBBB” Cream (BB But Better!) Skin-Loving Non-Makeup
  • Skin-The-Bluff Concealer in N1
  • Two True Hues Eyeshadow Duo in “Sea & Sky” (“Roses & Bon Bons” is a great option if you’d like a more pearlescent finish)
  • Skintelligent Beauty Eye Definer Brush

How To “Dew” It in 4 Steps:

1. PERFECT the Base
Refresh, refine and protect with Skintangible “BBBB” Cream (BB But Better!) Skin-Loving Non-Makeup. Next, apply Skin-The-Bluff Concealer under the eyes and around nose. Disguise any “quirks in progress” by spot treating areas requiring more coverage.

2. BRIGHTEN Lid Space
Brush on the pearlescent pink of Two True Hues Eyeshadow Duo in “Roses & Bon Bons.” If you’d like a more matte lid, use your Skin-The-Bluff Concealer: buff on lightly and blend well.

Use the Two True Hues Eyeshadow Duo “Sea & Sky”. Blend the darkest hue (“Blue Velvet”) with a small amount of N1 Skin-The-Bluff Concealer. Dip an angled brush like Skintelligent Beauty Eye Definer Brush into this creamy, pigmented paste and gently swipe along lash line working toward the outer corner of your lashes. Play with thicknesses and shapes — this brush gives you limitless options. What’s awesome with this technique is you can blend your own signature eyeliner color! For example, try “Truequoise” from the “Life’s A Beach” duo for a sweeter hue, or blend in a green from “Shaken & Stirred” for an enchanting aqua.

4. FINISH Strong & Sweet: Apply a few coats of our ever-popular Ooh-La-Lash! Volumizing Mascara and a neutral or baby pink gloss like Lip Gloss in “Slip” (always a fan favorite; plus, it’s dye-free!)
